The series features an air-suspension seat with added seat isolation. The air pressure can be adjusted with the touch of a button. A rubber isolated foot platform minimizes vibration. The Pro-Turn units also feature a 13.4-gallon fuel capacity and large flat-free front tires. The 7-gauge X-Factor Deck features an easy-to-operate deck lift system, dial-adjust height-of-cut system and maintenance-free XL Spindles. WorkPro Cab for Yanmar

Curtis Industries now offers a new cab system for the Yanmar LX series compact tractor. The WorkPro cab system features a commercial-grade enclosure that maintains full ROPS certification. The powder-coated, steel-frame cab is equipped with steel doors and full sliding windows. A complete fit-and-finish design presents total visibility at all angles. Doors are pin-hinged for easy removal. The windshield is made of molded, tempered safety glass with a pop-out vent feature and comes standard with a 12-volt electric wiper. Synthetic Turf Cutters

Turf Sewing Machines has become the exclusive U.S. distributor for Rasor Cutters. The company offers the twin-blade GC09 field and sideline cutter. It is designed to cut all field lines in minutes rather than days. The company also offers the Speedcut electric turf and track cutter, a lightweight, industrial hand-held cutter. Both units are able to cut all turfs on the market and will help streamline synthetic turf installations. Turf Sewing Machines now stocks these units, along with spare parts and blades.

Hydraulic Drive Option

Earth & Turf Products introduced a hydraulic drive option for its MultiSpread Model 320, a 1-cubic-yard topdresser with a wide-spread beater. The capacity of the Model 320 can be increased to 2 cubic yards by adding optional light material sides. The hydraulic option offers benefits for owners with tow vehicles with a remote hydraulic valve and minimum flow of 6 GPM. With the hydraulic drive option, apron and beater speeds are independent of ground speed, and each is infinitely adjustable independent of the other, providing flexibility. In addition, ground traction in slippery conditions is not an issue.

Change is Easy

Progressive Turf Equipment expanded the Pro-EZ Change Blade System with the addition of Low Lift blade tips. The system is a swing tip blade option developed for turf professionals using Progressive’s TDR-22 roller mower, the TD92 or ProMax-36 mower. Blade tips are easily replaced with the blade bar still mounted on the mower using common hand tools. Standard hardware eliminates the expense of replacing unique fasteners. A thinner profile than a standard blade means the tips hold a more effective edge after equivalent mowing hours. Pro-EZ Change Blades are available in kit form for use on mowers already in the field, or may be ordered as an option on a new mower.

Kill Tough Weeds

United Turf Alliance introduced ArmorTech SureZone herbicide, containing four active ingredients: the protox inhibitor sulfentrazone, 2,4-D, MCPP and dicamba. SureZone is a water-based formulation labeled for use on most cool and warm-season turfgrasses, with the exception of St. Augustinegrass. It controls a long list of broadleaf weeds, including many tough species. SureZone can be applied at temperatures up to 90 degrees, is rain-fast within six hours and allows reseeding in three weeks.
