Control valves are optional on all models and they have a maximum pressure rating of 145 PSI with flow range of .01 to 110 GPM.

Steel Structure

Legacy Building Solutions offers a line of fabric buildings that incorporate structural steel beams instead of open web trusses. Unlike hollow tube steel, Legacy’s solid structural steel beams are not vulnerable to unseen corrosion originating inside a tube. Coating options include hot dip galvanizing, red oxide primer and powder-coat paint. Buildings can be customized to the exact width, length and height required. The design allows for wider doors than possible with web truss. Structures can be modified to provide desired eave extensions and interior columns. Polyethylene fabric roofs eliminate the corrosion concerns associated with metal-constructed facilities. A wide variety of PVC fabrics is also available. Sidewalls can be customized and built with any desired material, including steel, paneling or siding.

New TopChoice Package Size

Environmental Science, a division of Bayer CropScience LP, is now offering a new 22-pound package of its fire ant control product TopChoice. This new size, which treats about 11,000 square feet, will be offered in addition to the 50-pound option already available. One application of TopChoice controls and prevents fire ants for up to one year. It also controls additional pests, including mole crickets for up to four months, nuisance ants for up to three months, and fleas and ticks for one month.

Granular Moisture Manager

Ecologel Solutions introduced Hydretain ES Plus Granular QD.

Hydretain is a patented rootzone moisture management technology that reduces the overall watering requirements of turf. Hydretain ES Plus combines Hydretain’s moisture management with a naturally derived soil surfactant designed to improve penetration into and throughout hydrophobic soils. The granule dissolves quickly and is convenient for dry spreader applications where liquid applications are impractical or labor-intensive. The granular Hydretain does not need to be watered in immediately, offering greater flexibility. At the application rate of 2.7 pounds per 1,000 square feet, each 40-pound bag will treat up to 14,800 square feet of turf. Once watered in, the granular particle completely breaks down, leaving no carrier behind.
