Under the agreement, John Deere will be the “Preferred Sports Turf Equipment Supplier” of Minor League Baseball and teams will be incentivized to use John Deere equipment in b
allparks throughout the country. Deere & Company currently sponsors only one other sports property, the PGA TOUR, making this agreement significant for both organizations.

“We are very pleased to form a relationship with John Deere, a company whose principles and core values align with those of Minor League Baseball,” said Minor League Baseball Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer David Wright in a press release. “Both organizations are incredibly active in local communities and share a genuine desire to give back.”

Headquartered in Moline, Illinois, Deere & Company was founded in 1837 by blacksmith and inventor John Deere.

“John Deere is very excited about our new relationship with Minor League Baseball,” said Rob Jeske, General Manager –
Marketing & Corporate Business Group for John Deere Golf & Sports. “We look forward to working together in serving both the teams, and their local communities, for many years to come.”

“John Deere is an incredible brand with a long and storied history,” added Wright. “The John Deere brand, combined with the endemic nature and scale of our sport, provides the foundation for a successful strategic partnership.”
