Keep it Simple

Green Pro Solutions’ Dirt Simple Compost Tea Brewers provide consistently high-quality compost tea. Compost tea places both volume and diversity of live microbes back into the soil. These brewers are designed to meet the standards of the Soil Foodweb, and they are easy to use and easy to clean. Three compost tea tests, cleaning tools, operating instructions and compost tea recipes are included with the brewer. These units are available in 30, 60, 100, 200, 300, 500 and 1,000-gallon sizes. Green Pro offers all the supplies you need to brew and apply compost tea.

Rook Herbicide

Rook, new from Phoenix Environmental Care, is a fast-acting, low-odor formulation of quinclorac. The postemergence herbicide controls emerging grassy and broadleaf weeds, including dandelions, clovers, bindweed, crabgrass, foxtail, speedwell, signalgrass and kikuyugrass. Rook is a liquid formulation that is absorbed quickly into plants and is rainfast within one hour of application. One application delivers residual control for up to 45 days, and it can be used with other herbicides.

Roll On

The new TDR-12 Roller Mower from Progressive Turf Equipment can be used in sports turf applications where striping is required. It is capable of cutting as low as .5 inch. The CV-style input system eliminates the need for special tractor setup and delivers smooth performance while negotiating sharp turns. Productivity can be increased because deck bounce is eliminated through roller-to-turf contact at high ground speeds. For optimum performance, 30 to 40 hp is required.

Versatile Material Handler

The new MX650 material handler from STEC Equipment has a capacity of over 6 cubic yards and can topdress and spread up to 40 feet wide. It can be used for various applications from filling trenches to serving as a tender for smaller machines. The swinging arm with hydraulic deflector allows material to be distributed with high precision at a wide variety of angles and directions. It also comes with a wireless remote for greater range of control both on and off the tractor.
