The Raycam Speedresser 18, new from BLEC USA, is a bulk drop spreader designed to handle all topdressing materials. Flotation tires minimize the risk of turf compaction. It requires at least a 30 hp tractor and has a hydraulically driven agitator and twin rollers. With a capacity of 2.25 cubic meters, it can spread in one pass at depths from 2 to 75 mm. Weighing 960 kilograms when empty, the unit has a spread width of 1.8 meters and a loading height of 1.4 meters.

New TrunkPump Model

Lowell Scott Enterprises now offers the TrunkPump TP-4PTR, a 4-inch trash pump. The low-maintenance pump requires 15 hp (540 RPM PTO) and mounts to most Category I three-point hitches. It is self-priming and made of cast aluminum with cast-iron wear parts. It can pump over 500 GPM, handles 2-inch solids and has a total dynamic head of 120 feet. The unit includes mounting hardware and PTO shaft.

Flexible Spill

Broyhill’s new Chemical Containment Flex Berms allow users to drive vehicles and other chemical equipment right onto them, while the lip re-expands to catch chemical spills from the equipment. The collapsible berms can be set up in one minute and fold easily after use for carrying and storage. Made of tough memory foam walls with a membrane floor, the berms are available in three sizes. The round, 2-foot diameter model is suitable for small projects such as oil changes and refilling chemical/gas tanks. The 8-by-14-foot version has optional depths of 2 or 8 inches and accommodates entire vehicles.

All-Pro 3

Newstripe has introduced the newly designed All-Pro 3 self-propelled field marking machine to replace the All-Pro II. It is faster, 35 pounds lighter and 5 inches shorter, and has more traction and better handling. With a 12-gallon tank, one fill-up allows striping of a typical football practice field. The bidirectional spray head paints the front and back of grass blades at the same time, with line width adjustable from 2 to 6 inches. The machine features a 4.5 hp Robin engine and 4.9-cubic-inch, cast-iron compressor.

Eliminate Dead Space

The Tap’t Hybrid Coupling, new from LASCO Fittings, eliminates the debris entrapment caused by dead space at the end of the HDPE lateral line. It fuses onto 2-inch or 63 mm lateral line and connects to a 1.5-inch LASCO Swing Joint via ACME threads, eliminating the dead space and the need for a saddle and line cap. The coupling is designed for butt fusion, socket fusion or electrofusion.
