We’re finishing up another year at Moose River Media, and in your hands is the final issue of SportsField Management for 2010. Since our magazine premiered in 2006, there have been many changes in both the sports field management industry and the publishing industry. As these industries have evolved, so have we, always with a primary goal of providing you with all of the information you need to know. Over the past few years we’ve developed a number of new ways for you to access articles, news and each other, whether you’re in your office or on the field.

We’ve upgraded our website so all of the great content you read in the magazine is also available online at www.sportsfieldmanagementmagazine.com. Our archives are searchable by issue date or subject, and you can also research our advertisers’ products using the FreeInfo button. Search by company name or product category to track down that piece of equipment that caught your eye in the latest issue; while you’re visiting our site, don’t forget to renew your subscription to guarantee you never miss an issue.

While you’re on the web, take a minute to register for free at our online forum, www.SportsFieldSite.com. This site is a place to meet with other sports field managers from across the country to trade ideas, offer advice or ask for help with a problem you’re having. The opportunity to access so many of your peers so easily is invaluable, so I hope you choose to take advantage of this special site.

This year we introduced another way to deliver the latest sports field management news to our loyal subscribers: our e-newsletter, From the Field. This biweekly wrap-up of field maintenance news is delivered directly to your inbox, making it a quick and efficient way to stay on top of the industry during your busy day.

These are a few of the changes we’ve made to better serve you, and they won’t be the last. We’re looking forward to bringing you even more great content in 2011. As always, I love hearing from you, so please e-mail with any comments.

Have a safe and happy holiday season, see you in 2011!
