Ever wonder what the top of the mountain looks like as far as high school scoreboards go? West Monroe High School, in West Monroe Louisiana, boasts a $742,000 Daktronics scoreboard that was completed last October.

The scoreboard, located in the west end zone of Don Shows Field at Rebel Stadium, has a built-in sound system, can be used to show movies, has replay capability, and comes with a programmable animation package. The dimensions of the board are a whopping 48.6 feet wide by 27 feet tall.

The cost was initially paid by the Ouachita Parish school district, but more than two-thirds will eventually be reimbursed through sponsorships on the scoreboard.
